As of yesterday, customers of Wal-Mart in the Tampa Bay, Florida area could purchase a 30-day supply of almost 300 commonly prescribed generic drugs for $4 each. The program will be available across Florida in January, and in additional states next year.
Not to be undercut, Target Corporation announced it would match Wal-Mart's lower prices beginning in the Tampa Bay area.
